  • DO YOU HAVE A DRESS CODE?

    Yes. No track pants, TN’s, steel cap boots, singlets, No offensive/face tattoos. No thongs/slides/crocs - enclosed shoes and sandals are accepted. All bumbags must be cloaked.

    Staff have the right to refuse entry for dress standards.

  • DO WE NEED ID TO ENTER THE VENUE?

    Yes. You need valid photo ID to enter the venue.

    eg. Licence, Digital licence, NSW photo ID card, and passport.

  • IS YOUR VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

    Our Street level nightclub and the Band room are fully accessible with a disabled toilet.

    Warehouse, Broken hearts bar, Club level and Mezzanine are NOT wheelchair accessible.

    We also accept companion card.

  • CAN WE RECIEVE A REFUND FOR A SHOW?

    If you need to receive a refund for a show, please contact Oztix directly.

  • CAN I PLAY AT YOUR VENUE?

  • HOW DO WE SEE SET TIMES FOR A SHOW?

    Set times for all shows will be release 48 hours before the show via our instagram and facebook page.

  • Is there seating available

    No seating is available for any shows. If you wish to request a seat for medical reasons please email Bec@kingstreetnewcastle.com.au at least 24 hours prior to the show.

  • Do you have a lost and found service?

    Yes, please email info@kingstreetnewcastle.com.au or DM us.

    All lost and found will be transferred over to our office at The Greenroof hotel every Monday.

  • Can I hire for private events or parties?

    We do not allow private parties or events at our venue.

  • How do we access photos from the weekend?

    All albums from the weekend will be published via facebook by the following Wednesday.

  • Do you offer group discounts or VIP packages?

    We do NOT offer group discounts or VIP packages.

  • How can I stay updated on upcoming events and promotions?

    To keep updated on all shows, events and upcoming announcements. Sign up to our Newsletter via the SIGN UP section in the top menu + follow us on instagram.

  • Are there any prohibited items or behaviors at King street?

    We have a zero tolerance policy within the venue. Any negative behaviour towards staff and patrons will be reported and actioned.

    We do not allow weapons and illegal substances. We are a licensed venue, we do not allow external alcohol to be brought onto the premises or be seen drinking within a 50 metre radius of the venue.

  • Do I need to print my tickets, or can I use electronic tickets on my smartphone?

    Feel free to use digital or printed ticket for any shows and events.

    If you are have received your receipt but no ticket has been sent to you, we can look your name up on arrival.

  • What is your policy on photography and recording during events?

    As a venue we film and photograph all shows and events for promotional use. Patrons that wish not to be filmed can notify us prior to to the show or on entry.
